CAZ Investments makes two funds available on SoFi Invest platform

August 6, 2026 9:01 AM

CAZ Investments, a Houston-based alternative investment firm, announced that two of its private-market funds are now accessible through the SoFi Invest platform, operated by SoFi Technologies (NASDAQ: SOFI).

The two CAZ funds available through SoFi Invest offer exposure to GP stakes, professional sports franchises, energy infrastructure, and the space and defense industries. The arrangement allows individual retail investors to access these strategies through SoFi's digital platform.

Christopher Zook, Founder and Chief Investment Officer of CAZ Investments, attributed the expanded access to regulatory changes that took effect in 2025. "The regulatory changes in 2025 have allowed us to expand access to virtually all investors," Zook said. "By working with SoFi Invest, we are helping more investors participate in the long-term growth potential of private markets with the simplicity and convenience they expect from a modern investment platform."

CAZ Investments was founded in 2001 and states it has more than $11 billion in assets currently deployed across more than 100 private and registered funds. The firm's investor network includes over 9,100 investors across all 50 U.S. states and 41 countries, according to the press release.

SoFi Technologies reports 15.8 million members using its platform for financial services including borrowing, saving, spending, and investing.
