Sportsbet Pty Ltd, an Australian online wagering company and subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment (NYSE: FLTR), has selected TrueFoundry as its enterprise AI gateway, according to a statement from TrueFoundry.

The platform will be deployed as a self-hosted solution within Sportsbet's Amazon Web Services infrastructure, serving as a centralized control plane for large language model traffic, agent tool calls, and AI workloads across the company's engineering teams.

The implementation includes centralized governance and observability, runtime policy enforcement integrated with Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, scoped access controls via personal access tokens, and an MCP Gateway for routing agent tool calls through integrations such as Jira. The system is also designed to accommodate additional security providers including CrowdStrike, Pangea, and Netskope.

Sportsbet said an existing production agent used by business analysts and product managers to draft product requirement documents via Jira has been re-platformed through the TrueFoundry gateway. The company is also building a log-to-alerting defect detection workflow and routing coding assistant traffic through the gateway.

"The hard part was never the pilot; it's turning AI into a core capability that runs the business at scale," said Niall Keating, GM Data & AI at Sportsbet.

Tomas Bacon, Head of Enterprise AI at Sportsbet, said the platform provides "governance and visibility we need without slowing down the systems our customers depend on."

TrueFoundry, headquartered in San Francisco, says it processes over one trillion tokens per day via its AI gateway. The company's CEO, Nikunj, said the Sportsbet deployment requires governance to be "built into the request path from the start" given the company's operating environment.
