Black Rock Coffee Bar opened a new location in Tempe, Arizona, on Aug. 7, 2026, bringing its total Arizona store count to 60, according to a company press release.

The store is located at 1765 E University Dr. To mark the grand opening, the Oregon-founded coffee chain offered $3 medium drinks all day, with a sticker giveaway continuing the following day.

"Every new store is an opportunity to become part of another great community," said Mark Davis, CEO of Black Rock Coffee Bar. "We look forward to serving our guests with handcrafted drinks, meaningful connections, and the energy that defines the Black Rock experience."

Founded in Oregon in 2008, Black Rock Coffee Bar operates more than 200 retail locations across seven states. The company offers specialty coffees, teas, smoothies, and its in-house Fuel® energy drinks, which are customizable with more than 20 fruit flavors.

The company also operates a loyalty program through its Black Rock Rewards app, where purchases earn redeemable points toward free beverages. Recent menu additions include a Grilled Cheese item and a Protein Cold Foam option.
