ADTRAN Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADTN) has launched Mosaic One Fabric, an expansion of its Mosaic One software platform that allows telecommunications operators to build, govern and scale custom AI agents and workflows.

According to a company press release, the platform is designed to give operators control over their own operational data, AI models and token economics, without being tied to vendor-specific ecosystems. The platform uses model context protocol (MCP) to expose network data and telecom capabilities as reusable, agent-ready tools.

Mosaic One Fabric includes features such as deterministic root-cause analysis and cross-domain correlation, which operators can incorporate into custom AI workflows. The platform is designed to function across multi-vendor networks and across service and business domains.

"Operators understand their networks, customers and business priorities better than anyone else," said Christoph Glingener, CTO of Adtran. "Mosaic One Fabric gives operators an open foundation for bringing AI into real-world operational environments, not just isolated demonstrations and proofs of concept."

Philip Bednarz, GM of software platforms at Adtran, noted that the platform addresses deployment challenges beyond initial agent creation. "Mosaic One Fabric provides the foundation to do that by bringing an operator's network, operational data and proven telecom expertise together as agent-ready tools their AI agents can leverage," he said.

Adtran also said it is expanding its integration, workflow design and advisory services alongside the product launch to support adoption.
