ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) has completed the acquisition of Benchmark Partners LLC, operating as Galena-Benchmark Engineering, a civil engineering and land surveying firm based in Ketchum, Idaho. The deal marks the company's 27th Drone as a Service acquisition and its first in Idaho, according to a press release.

Galena-Benchmark Engineering is a multi-discipline firm with a 30-year history offering civil engineering, land planning, surveying, and land information systems services across multiple counties in central and southern Idaho. Its customer base includes municipal and government entities, construction companies, and builders in the public works, tourism, and agriculture sectors.

ZenaTech said it plans to introduce drone-based land surveying and 3D construction monitoring through its ZenaWorx platform at the acquired firm, with future services to include precision agriculture, utility inspections, wildfire mitigation, and environmental monitoring.

"This acquisition expands our Drone as a Service footprint into Idaho, our 13th U.S. state, establishing a strong presence in a market supported by growing construction, agriculture, infrastructure and public sector demand," said Shaun Passley, Ph.D., CEO of ZenaTech.

ZenaTech's Drone as a Service model provides on-demand and subscription-based drone services to business and government customers, removing the need for clients to own or maintain commercial drone fleets. The company has been acquiring established service businesses and integrating drone technology into their operations.
