Safe Pro Group Inc. (Nasdaq: SPAI) announced it has received a $780,000 purchase order from a new Department of War prime contractor for a package that includes its edge-based, AI-powered threat detection technologies and multiple Blue UAS drones.

According to the company's press release, work on the contract is set to begin in the third quarter of 2026 and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027.

The company described the award as its fifth recent U.S. Government contract for its patented AI technology and said the new prime contractor relationship expands its network of defense sector connections.

Safe Pro Group, based in Aventura, Fla., develops AI-enabled defense, security, and situational awareness solutions, including drone imagery processing using machine learning and computer vision technology.
