Papa Johns names new chief marketing and development officers
Papa John's International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PZZA) announced several leadership changes, effective immediately, as part of its ongoing strategic transformation.
Chris Lyn-Sue, previously Senior Vice President and General Manager of International, has been named Global Chief Marketing Officer. He joined Papa Johns in 2022 and served as interim Chief Marketing Officer in 2024. Before joining the company, he held roles at Popeyes, Restaurant Brands International, and Bacardi.
John Matter, formerly Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Interim Head of North American Development, has been appointed to the newly created role of Global Chief Development Officer and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Matter joined Papa Johns in 2013 and has more than 25 years of legal and strategic advisory experience, including over 15 years in the restaurant and franchising industry.
Caroline Miller Oyler, who serves as Chief Administrative Officer, has been named Chief Legal and Administrative Officer, reassuming direct leadership of the legal function while retaining her role as Corporate Secretary.
Chris Phylactou, previously Managing Director UK, Europe and Canada, has been named Senior Vice President, International. He rejoined Papa Johns in 2020 after spending eight years at TGI Fridays.
In connection with the appointments, Jenna Bromberg will depart the company and serve in an advisory capacity through August 28 to support the transition.
