RTC Networks expands Calix AI platform use after cutting churn 46%
Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) announced that RTC Networks, a North Dakota communications cooperative, is expanding its use of the Calix One platform and Calix Agent Workforce Cloud as part of a five-year growth strategy.
According to the press release, RTC Networks reported a 46% reduction in monthly churn and a 22% increase in average revenue per user (ARPU) over two years following its adoption of Calix tools, including the CommandIQ mobile app and SmartHome experiences. The cooperative also reported a 97% installation success rate for SmartBiz upgrades.
RTC Networks is now deploying secure agentic workflows within the Calix One platform, targeting improvements in employee onboarding, customer support, and operational consistency. The cooperative expanded access to the platform across its organization within weeks of initial deployment.
Brooks Goodall, assistant general manager at RTC Networks, said: "We are preparing RTC Networks for where our business will be five years from now, not where it is today. With Calix Agent Workforce, employees will be able to find answers more easily, resolve issues with greater confidence during troubleshooting, and onboard faster."
John Durocher, chief operations officer at Calix, said: "RTC Networks has a clear vision for the future and a proven approach for long-term growth. By embedding secure agentic workflows into everyday work with Calix One and Calix Agent Workforce Cloud, RTC Networks is creating a more predictable and scalable operating model that drives subscriber loyalty and higher revenue."
RTC Networks has partnered with Calix since 2008. The cooperative serves residential, business, and community markets in North Dakota.
