Franklin Templeton, the investment management firm traded on the NYSE as Franklin Resources (NYSE: BEN), has appointed Elizabeth "Liz" Hogbin as Head of Global Product and Rene Buehlmann as Head of Asia Pacific, according to a company statement. Patrick O'Connor will transition from Head of Global ETFs to Vice Chairman of the Global Client Group.

Hogbin is set to join on September 30, 2026, coming from T. Rowe Price, where she led the global product organization. She previously held roles at Wellington Management, Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company. In her new role, she will oversee strategy, development, positioning and commercialization of Franklin Templeton's product platform across asset classes, investment vehicles and regions.

Buehlmann will join on September 21, 2026, as Head of Asia Pacific. He previously served as Global Chief Executive Officer of Aberdeen Investments and spent nearly three decades at UBS, including as Head of UBS Asset Management in Asia Pacific. He will divide his time between Hong Kong and Singapore.

O'Connor, credited with helping build the firm's ETF business to over $75 billion in assets, will serve as a senior adviser on investment solutions, innovation and strategy, with an initial focus on ETF expansion across Japan, Greater China, Korea, Taiwan and India.

The appointments follow recent additions of Brett Mossman as Head of U.S. Product, Lyenda Delp as Head of Global Insurance and Institutional Asset Solutions, and the elevation of Kim Roy to Chief Operating Officer of the Global Client Group.

Franklin Templeton reported $63.4 billion in net inflows fiscal year to date. The firm manages $1.79 trillion in assets under management as of June 30, 2026.
