CoreWeave signs multi-year SSD supply deal with Solidigm
CoreWeave, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWV) has signed a multi-year agreement with Solidigm, a subsidiary of SK hynix Inc., to secure priority access to enterprise solid-state drive (SSD) capacity for its AI cloud platform, according to a press release from the company.
The agreement is intended to give CoreWeave dedicated storage allocation as demand for AI infrastructure grows. CoreWeave said the deal addresses storage as a constraint in capacity planning, ensuring supply scales alongside customer demand across its platform.
"Storage is part of that promise," said Sachin Jain, chief operating officer of CoreWeave. "This agreement gives us priority access to the storage our roadmap depends on, allowing customers to focus on what they're building instead of the infrastructure underneath it."
Paul Palonsky, executive vice president and head of global sales at Solidigm, said the agreement reflects confidence in CoreWeave's growth trajectory. "Long-term supply commitments are becoming a strategic advantage of staying ahead of demand, and this agreement aligns to that vision," he said.
Solidigm, headquartered in Rancho Cordova, California, operates as a standalone subsidiary of SK hynix Inc. and supplies enterprise storage products for data centers and edge computing environments.
CoreWeave, founded in 2017 and listed on the Nasdaq in March 2025, provides cloud infrastructure services for AI workloads. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
