Richardson Electronics adds two battery storage systems to its lineup
Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (NASDAQ: RELL) announced the addition of two commercial battery energy storage systems, the RESS211 and RESS422, to its Richardson Energy Storage Solutions (RESS) portfolio, according to a press release dated Aug. 4, 2026.
The new systems offer 211 kWh and 422 kWh capacities, respectively, and join the previously released RESS760, a 760 kWh platform. The three products form a scalable lineup targeting commercial and industrial customers.
The systems are available as standalone DC battery blocks or as fully integrated turnkey units. Stated use cases include peak demand management, backup power, renewable energy integration, and participation in utility demand response programs.
