Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) announced two new offerings for corporate travel programs: a Business Priority product and New Distribution Capability (NDC) connectivity, according to a press release issued Aug. 3, 2026.

The Business Priority product is expected to become available in early 2027 as an option within corporate travel agreements for qualified customers. It is designed to provide eligible business travelers with preferred reaccommodation, standby, and boarding benefits on the day of travel.

On the distribution side, Southwest said it is expanding its in-house API to support direct-connect NDC access for partners, with availability expected by the end of 2026. The airline also selected Amadeus Altéa NDC to provide a third-party booking channel, with that option expected to be available later in 2027.

"As NDC adoption continues to accelerate across corporate travel, we are pleased to deepen our technology collaboration with Southwest and bring its NDC content to a wider audience," said Meg O'Keefe, Senior Vice President, Airlines, Americas at Amadeus.

Aileen Furlong, Vice President of Sales at Southwest, said the company is focused on making it easier for corporate buyers to access product enhancements "through expanded distribution options and priority travel from booking to boarding."

The NDC connectivity is intended to give travel management companies and corporate booking tools access to Southwest fare products and seating ancillary services within existing workflows.
