Russia opens case against Apple over app requirements
Investing.com -- Russia's anti-monopoly authority has initiated a case against Apple Inc following the company's failure to meet requirements for pre-installing Russian applications on its devices, state news agency RIA reported on Monday.
The case stems from Apple's non-compliance with a warning to pre-install Russia's MAX messaging application and a Russian app store on iOS devices, according to state news agency TASS.
The watchdog had previously issued a warning to the technology company regarding these pre-installation requirements.
