Achieve Life Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACHV) has appointed Ronald Dadino as Senior Vice President of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) and Supply Chain, and Gloria Cosgrove as Senior Vice President of Quality, according to a press release from the Seattle- and Vancouver-based specialty pharmaceutical company.

The appointments follow the departure of Craig Donnelly, who stepped down as Chief Operations Officer effective July 31, 2026. Responsibilities previously held by Donnelly have been divided between the two new executives.

Dadino brings more than four decades of pharmaceutical industry experience. He began his career as a research pharmacist at Merck and later spent 13 years at Johnson & Johnson, serving as Vice President of Development and Technical Operations. At Achieve, he will oversee CMC and supply chain functions, including the end-to-end cytisinicline supply chain. The company noted it is transitioning finished product manufacturing to the United States.

Cosgrove brings more than 30 years of quality leadership experience. She spent 26 years at Boehringer Ingelheim in Global Quality Assurance and later held senior quality roles at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Seres Therapeutics, where she led quality through the FDA approval of VOWST. At Achieve, she will oversee quality functions across manufacturing, clinical, and regulatory areas.

The hires come as Achieve advances cytisinicline toward resubmission of its New Drug Application (NDA) for smoking cessation and a potential U.S. commercial launch. The company has also completed a Phase 2 study of cytisinicline for nicotine e-cigarette cessation and received Breakthrough Therapy designation for that indication.
