Everspan Group names three senior leaders in operations and underwriting
Everspan Group, a specialty property and casualty insurance platform and wholly owned subsidiary of Octave Specialty Group (NYSE: OSG), has named three senior executives to newly defined roles, according to a press release.
David A. Kenyon joined the company as Head of Reinsurance on July 31. Bevan Greibesland is set to join as Chief Underwriting Officer on August 10, and Forest Clay Stewart will join as Chief Operating Officer on August 17. All three will report to Darwin Lucas, President of Everspan Group.
The company said the appointments establish dedicated leadership for underwriting and reinsurance functions that were previously overseen under a combined role.
Kenyon brings more than 25 years of insurance and reinsurance experience, most recently leading reinsurance placement and operations for Zurich North America. He previously held senior positions at Swiss Reinsurance America, GE Global Insurance, and Kemper National Insurance Company. He will be based in Chicago.
Greibesland has more than 20 years of insurance experience. She joins from HDI Global, where she led U.S. delegated authority and specialty businesses, and previously served as Chief Underwriting Officer of Blitz Insurance. She will be based in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Stewart has 20 years of experience in operations and technology across insurance and financial services. He joins from Chubb, where he served as Vice President, Target Operating Model Leader and Principal Product Owner, and previously held roles at Deloitte and SEI. He will be based in New York and Philadelphia.
