Faraday Future reports July robotics record of 152 units shipped

August 3, 2026 5:59 AM

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) reported robotics sales and shipments of 152 units in July, which the company said set a new monthly record. Cumulative sales and shipments reached 394 units through the end of July, against a stated full-year target of 2,000 units.

The California-based company also announced the launch of its EAI Robotics "Built in USA" Acceleration Program, citing the U.S. Federal Communications Commission's July 28 decision to add foreign-produced advanced robotic devices, including humanoid and quadruped robots, to its Covered List. Devices on that list are generally prohibited from obtaining new FCC equipment authorizations.

Faraday Future said its robot devices currently on sale have already obtained required FCC certifications and will not be affected by the new policy. The company said it plans to accelerate FCC and other U.S. regulatory approvals for future robot devices in phases.

The "Built in USA" program is described as proceeding in three phases: completing initial U.S.-based implementation of software and data systems, transitioning to "Assembled in USA" for robot hardware, and ultimately achieving "Made in USA" for devices and certain parts covered under the FCC's Covered List.

The company also said it plans to host an EAI Robotics "Built in USA" Industry Chain Partner Recruitment Conference, targeting upstream partners such as component suppliers and robotics OEMs, as well as downstream partners including distributors, system integrators, and data partners across the United States.

The update was delivered by founder and Global CEO YT Jia as part of the company's weekly investor communication series. The information is based on a press release issued by Faraday Future. The company noted in its forward-looking disclosures that it currently lacks the ability to pay its outstanding obligations and faces going-concern risks, among other material uncertainties.
