Zions Bancorporation raises dividend, approves $75M share buyback
Zions Bancorporation, N.A. (NASDAQ: ZION) said its board of directors has authorized up to $75 million in common stock repurchases for the third quarter of 2026, part of a previously approved $300 million share repurchase target for the full year.
The board also declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.48 per share, payable August 20, 2026, to shareholders of record as of August 13, 2026. The dividend reflects an increase of $0.03, or 6.7%, from the prior quarter.
The board separately declared a quarterly cash dividend on the company's Series A perpetual preferred shares (NASDAQ: ZIONP), payable September 15, 2026, to shareholders of record as of September 1, 2026.
The timing and amounts of any repurchase activity will depend on market conditions, regulatory requirements, and other factors, and may be updated at the board's discretion, according to the company statement.
Zions Bancorporation reported approximately $89 billion in total assets as of December 31, 2025, and annual net revenue of $3.4 billion in 2025. The bank operates in 11 western states.
