Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq: NDSN) has appointed Matthew Matejka as its new head of investor relations, succeeding Lara Mahoney, who has moved to a role focused on corporate communications and enterprise talent development, according to a press release from the Westlake, Ohio-based company.

Matejka, who joined Nordson in 2023, most recently served as finance director for the company's Industrial Coating Solutions division. Before joining Nordson, he spent a decade in finance and business leadership roles at Materion Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Penn State University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.

In his new role, Matejka will serve as the primary liaison to the investment community and will oversee Nordson's investor relations strategy and activities.

"Matt brings a unique combination of finance, strategy, and operating experience that makes him well-positioned to lead our investor relations function," said Dan Hopgood, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Nordson.

Mahoney and Matejka are expected to work together during the transition period to maintain continuity for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
