Myers Industries begins European military packaging production in Poland
Myers Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MYE) has launched production of military ammunition containers in Europe through its Scepter subsidiary, operating as Scepter International Poland sp z o.o.
Production began earlier in 2026 at a contract manufacturing facility in Poland, with initial customer shipments commencing in April 2026, according to a company statement.
Scepter's ammunition containers are made from polymer resin compounds and are designed to replace traditional wood and metal packaging. The containers are described as lightweight and reusable, and are already in use by military customers across NATO and allied nations.
"Launching production in Europe marks an exciting new chapter for Scepter and Myers Industries," said Mike Miller, Business Vice President of Scepter. "Regional production puts us closer to our customers, shortens lead times, and allows us to respond more quickly to their needs."
Aaron Schapper, President and CEO of Myers Industries, said the move reflects the company's approach to long-term growth. "Expanding Scepter's manufacturing footprint into Europe strengthens our military packaging platform and supports the continued growth of our defense business."
Myers Industries is based in Akron, Ohio, and manufactures plastic and metal products across consumer, vehicle, food and beverage, industrial, and infrastructure markets.
