AAON, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAON) appointed Robert L. Buttermore III and Patrick J. Jermain as independent directors to its board, effective July 28, 2026, according to a company statement.

Buttermore currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Rockwell Automation, where he oversees global manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, customer care, and trade compliance. He will serve on AAON's Compensation Committee. Buttermore holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University.

Jermain recently retired as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Plexus Corporation, a global manufacturing services company, following a 12-year tenure in that role. He will serve on AAON's Audit Committee. Jermain holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The appointments expand the size of AAON's board and are described by the company as part of an ongoing succession and refreshment process. Independent Chairman A.H. "Chip" McElroy II said the additions bring "decades of leadership experience within highly respected public companies."

AAON, headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, manufactures HVAC equipment for commercial, industrial, and data center applications under the AAON and BASX brands.
