KBR names its Mission Technology Solutions spinoff Trinzic

July 30, 2026 6:01 AM

KBR (NYSE: KBR) has revealed the name of its planned spinoff company, announcing that its Mission Technology Solutions business will operate as Trinzic when it becomes an independent publicly traded company.

The spinoff is expected to be completed in January 2027 and is intended to be tax-free to KBR and its shareholders for U.S. federal income tax purposes, subject to customary conditions and approvals. Following the separation, KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions business will continue to operate under the KBR name.

The name Trinzic is derived from the word "intrinsic," according to the company's statement. Global branding firm Siegel + Gale led the development of the brand identity, which includes a logo and the tagline "The Bold. Connected."

KBR President and CEO Stuart Bradie said in a statement: "Trinzic represents who KBR Mission Tech has always been at our core: an essential partner bringing innovation and trusted execution to the missions that matter most."

The announcement follows previously disclosed leadership appointments for the new entity. Michael LaRouche will serve as President and CEO, and Nicholas Veasey will serve as Chief Financial Officer of Trinzic at the time of the spinoff.

Trinzic is expected to focus on national security and space missions. KBR is headquartered in Houston and employs approximately 37,000 people worldwide.
