Faraday Future cites FCC robotics rules as advantage, seeks partners
Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) issued a statement saying that recent FCC restrictions on Chinese-made humanoid and quadruped robots entering the U.S. market benefit its position as a U.S.-based robotics company with existing FCC certification for its current products.
The Los Angeles-based company reported it has surpassed 250 cumulative units in sales, shipments, and deliveries of humanoid and bionic robots since the end of February 2026. Faraday Future is recruiting partners across the robotics value chain, including robot manufacturers, component suppliers, distributors, system integrators, and enterprise customers, to join its U.S. ecosystem.
The company also completed a 1-for-150 reverse stock split to maintain compliance with Nasdaq listing requirements.
Emerging Growth Research issued a report reiterating a Buy-Emerging rating on Faraday Future and updated its 12-month price target to $30.00 per share, adjusted from a pre-split target of $2.00 per share. The press release discloses that the Emerging Growth Research report was paid for by Faraday Future.
The FCC ruling, as described in the statement, does not affect consumer use of previously acquired devices or prevent retailers from selling models already approved through the FCC's equipment authorization process. Restrictions apply only to new device models imported from China.
Faraday Future said it plans to continue seeking FCC certification for future robotics products and to expand partnerships across its supply chain and sales channels as part of a localization strategy.
