July 29, 2026 10:00 AM

AT&T (NYSE: T) announced that its 5G home internet service, AT&T Internet Air, has reached 2 million subscribers. According to a company press release, the service added its second million customers in roughly one year, compared to approximately two years to reach its first million.

More than half of AT&T Internet Air subscribers, or over 1 million customers, also hold an AT&T wireless plan, which the company refers to as "converged" customers.

"People want simple internet from a provider they trust, and that's what AT&T Internet Air delivers," said Josh Goodell, vice president of broadband product development at AT&T. "Today's milestone shows it's resonating with customers, and when they pair it with AT&T wireless, we're seeing industry-leading satisfaction."

AT&T said it plans to make the service available for purchase in physical retail stores beginning next month, allowing customers to take equipment home on the same day. Currently, the service is available across the contiguous U.S., though availability varies by address.

Customers who bundle AT&T Internet Air with an eligible AT&T wireless plan can access home internet pricing starting at $35 per month.
