Regions Bank names Chris Claybrook as Nashville market president

Regions Bank announced that Lee Blank, its Nashville Market President and Private Wealth Management Regional Executive for Tennessee, will retire at the end of 2026 after 43 years with the bank.



Chris Claybrook, who has worked at Regions Bank since 1993, will succeed Blank as Nashville Market President effective January 2027. Claybrook has served as Commercial Banking Executive in Nashville for 15 years, working alongside Blank.



John Turner, Chairman, President and CEO of Regions Financial Corp (NYSE: RF), said in a statement that Claybrook "understands Nashville, understands our clients, and shares our commitment to relationship-based banking."



Claybrook is involved in several Nashville organizations, including Leadership Nashville, Junior Achievement's Executive Committee, the Rotary Club of Downtown Nashville, and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.



Regions Bank also announced additional leadership changes tied to Blank's departure. Frank Schriner will become Private Wealth Leader for Metro Nashville, and Stephen Russell will take over Blank's responsibilities leading Private Wealth Management teams serving investment clients across Tennessee. Melanie Blank will continue leading Consumer Banking teams across Middle and East Tennessee.
