Flex names leadership teams for both companies ahead of 2027 spin-off
Flex (Nasdaq: FLEX) has named leadership teams for itself and its planned spin-off of its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment, which is expected to become an independent publicly traded company in the first calendar quarter of 2027.
The spin-off entity, referred to as SpinCo, will be led by Revathi Advaithi as chief executive officer, with Bill Watkins serving as non-executive chairman of the board. Kevin Krumm, currently Flex's chief financial officer, is expected to transition to the same role at SpinCo upon completion of the separation. Krumm will continue serving as Flex CFO through the transaction, while Flex has initiated a search for a permanent CFO replacement.
Additional SpinCo leadership includes Rob Campbell as chief commercial officer, Mattias Jansson as president of Embedded Power, Todd Hoover as president of Critical Power, Hooi Tan as chief operating officer, and Chris Butler as chief technology and strategy officer.
Michael Hartung will serve as CEO of the remaining Flex business, with Advaithi taking on a transitional role as non-executive chairman of Flex's board. The Flex leadership team also includes Dennis Kirkpatrick as president of Integrated Technology Solutions, Mike Thoeny as president of Regulated Manufacturing Solutions, Rodrigo DallOglio as chief operating officer, and Ivan Brockman as chief business transformation officer.
"I'm honored to build on Flex's proven playbook as we enter our next chapter with a clear focus on the long-term growth opportunities shaping the markets we serve," Hartung said in a statement.
The announcements were made according to a press release issued by Flex on July 29, 2026. The spin-off remains subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions, and there is no guarantee it will be completed on the anticipated timeline or at all.
