Snapmaker adopts Aurora Mobile's EngageLab for push notifications

July 29, 2026 7:03 AM

Aurora Mobile Limited (NASDAQ: JG) announced that its EngageLab platform has been integrated by 3D printer maker Snapmaker to manage push notifications for its global mobile application user base, according to a press release from the Singapore-based company.

Snapmaker, which produces modular 3D printers sold across multiple countries, adopted EngageLab's AppPush service to address inconsistent message delivery rates caused by varying mobile network environments across its user base spanning all seven continents.

The integration connects Snapmaker's mobile app to Google FCM and Apple APNs for international markets, while also covering domestic mobile manufacturer channels. The platform includes a time-zone-based push feature that batches message delivery according to each user's local time, allowing Snapmaker's operations team to set a single relative send time rather than managing regional schedules manually.

The Snapmaker mobile application supports device monitoring, project sharing, and firmware upgrades for its hardware products. Prior to the integration, the company cited a lack of automated trigger mechanisms and the risk of notifying users at disruptive hours as operational challenges in its global expansion.

Aurora Mobile, founded in 2011, provides customer engagement and marketing technology services. Its EngageLab platform is also used by clients including Dhgate, HelloRide, J&T Cargo, and Blurams.
