July 29, 2026 6:30 AM

Marvell Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRVL) announced plans to invest $250 million in India over the next three years, expanding its technology, talent, and infrastructure capabilities in the country.

As part of the investment, the company plans to double its India headcount over the same period. Marvell is also unveiling a new wing at its Bangalore office and expanding its presence in Hyderabad. The company established operations in Bangalore in 2006 and has since grown India into its second-largest research and development organization worldwide, with teams across Bangalore, Pune, and Hyderabad.

Marvell said its India teams have developed expertise in advanced process technologies at 2nm and beyond, high-speed analog IP, subsystem design, software and firmware development, and end-to-end silicon development.

"India has become a strategic hub of engineering excellence for Marvell, playing a critical role in advancing the infrastructure technologies that power the world's leading hyperscalers and cloud providers," said Navin Bishnoi, vice president and India country manager at Marvell.

The announcement coincides with the company marking 20 years of operations in India. Marvell also highlighted its Marvell Scholarship for Technical and Engineering Merit program, launched earlier this year, which received more than 7,000 applicants from universities across India. One hundred students were selected to receive scholarships supporting degrees in electronics, electrical engineering, and computer science.
