Investing.com - Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) received a $213 million contract modification from the U.S. Department of War to support reconfiguration of four P-8A Multi-mission Maritime aircraft for a Foreign Military Sales customer.

The modification adds scope to procure non-recurring engineering to reconfigure the aircraft previously purchased by the FMS customer. The work will modify the aircraft configuration to meet the customer's specific operational requirements.

Boeing will perform 91% of the work in Seattle, Washington, and 9% in Huntington Beach, California. The contract is expected to be completed by December 2031.

The Department of War will obligate $74,895,757 in FMS customer funds at the time of award. The contract was not competed.
