Diodes Incorporated elects Evan Yu to its board of directors
Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD) announced the election of Evan Yu to its board of directors as an independent director, effective August 1, 2026, according to a company press release.
Yu previously served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Power Products at Diodes, having joined the company in 2008 and retiring in January 2023. In that role, he led global strategy for the power products business and oversaw teams across product development, engineering, marketing, and commercial operations. He also held the title of Asia President and served in director roles across subsidiaries and affiliated entities.
Before joining Diodes, Yu was CEO of Commit Inc., an Asia-based wireless communications chipset company. Prior to that, he spent 15 years at Texas Instruments, where he held management roles including Asia Vice President of the Application Specific Products organization. Most recently, Yu served as Chairman of the Board of Canyon Semiconductor Inc.
Yu holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tam Kang University in Taiwan and studied electrical engineering at Kaohsiung Institute of Technology.

Yu qualifies as an independent director under Nasdaq corporate governance standards and Rule 10A-3 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
