Micware and Aisan Technology form capital and business alliance
Micware Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: MWC) announced a capital and business alliance agreement with Aisan Technology Co., Ltd. (TSE, NSE: 4667), according to a press release issued July 28, 2026.
The alliance focuses on two primary areas. In the digital transformation domain, the companies plan to incorporate content and technologies from both parties into their respective products and solutions. In the mobility domain, they intend to develop services including applications for autonomous driving and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), using maps, high-precision maps, imagery, and positioning technologies from both companies.
Aisan Technology brings capabilities in high-precision location data processing, spatial surveying, and three-dimensional mapping. Micware contributes software planning and development using location and spatial data.
The companies stated they will periodically review the progress and results of the alliance and may adjust the fields, scope, and methods of collaboration as needed. Specific details of the initiatives remain under discussion.
Aisan Technology previously participated in Micware's initial public offering on May 14, 2026, acquiring American Depositary Shares of Micware at that time.
Micware, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Kobe, Japan, develops in-vehicle infotainment systems, navigation software, and location-based applications. The company operates through six entities and 13 branch offices across Japan, with subsidiaries in the United States, Thailand, and Germany.
