July 28, 2026 8:31 AM

Relmada Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: RLMD) has appointed Bipin Dalmia, PhD, MBA, as Chief Business Officer, according to a company statement. Dalmia will oversee corporate strategy, commercial planning, and business development, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Sergio Traversa.

Dalmia brings nearly three decades of biopharmaceutical experience, with a focus on non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and business development. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Portfolio Strategy and Business Development at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, where he spent 14 years. During that time, he led the company's Uro-Oncology Franchise, including the U.S. launch of ADSTILADRIN, which the Food and Drug Administration approved as the first intravesical gene therapy for BCG-unresponsive NMIBC patients. He also completed more than 20 licensing, partnership, and M&A transactions at Ferring.

Prior to Ferring, Dalmia held business development roles at Biolex Therapeutics, Syngenta, and Novartis. He currently serves on the boards of Ferring Ventures S.A. and FinVector Oy. He holds a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Drake University.

Relmada said the appointment is intended to support the advancement of NDV-01, its investigational sustained-release intravesical therapy for NMIBC patients, as the company moves toward late-stage development.

"Bipin combines a deep understanding of the evolving NMIBC treatment and competitive landscape, with exceptional experience in helping bring the first FDA-approved intravesical gene therapy to bladder cancer patients," Traversa said in the statement.

Relmada is a clinical-stage biotechnology company with two lead candidates, NDV-01 and sepranolone, both in mid-stage clinical development.
