EPAM joins OpenAI Partner Network as an Advanced Partner

EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM) has joined the OpenAI Partner Network as an Advanced Partner, the company announced July 28, 2026. The partnership is aimed at helping global enterprises deploy and scale OpenAI's AI models across their operations.

Under the agreement, EPAM's engineers will integrate OpenAI's models into enterprise applications, data systems and workflows, with a focus on security, compliance and governance. EPAM and OpenAI plan to develop specialized training programs globally, with a target of certifying more than 5,000 consultants with over 10,000 credentials in the first year.

"The next era of enterprise AI isn't about deploying models, it's about applying strategic intelligence, and the right talent, to solve real business problems safely and at scale," said Elaina Shekhter, SVP and Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at EPAM.

Colleen Kapase, VP of Strategic Global Partners & Ecosystems at OpenAI, said: "EPAM's deep engineering expertise and enterprise transformation experience can help organizations turn the potential of AI into real-world results."

The press release cites telecommunications provider 1&1 as an existing client. According to the announcement, EPAM helped 1&1 deploy an AI platform handling customer calls through more than 20 AI agents, with the first production deployment completed in under three months.
