Terrestrial Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: IMSR) has signed an Engineering Services Agreement with Zachry Group to support the development and licensing of its Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR) plant at the Texas A&M-RELLIS campus in Bryan, Texas.

Under the agreement, Zachry will provide civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services to support Terrestrial Energy's design, development, and licensing activities at the site. Zachry's NQA-1 nuclear quality program will be applied to the work.

Work under the agreement has already commenced at Texas A&M-RELLIS to support Terrestrial Energy's engineering and licensing activity.

The agreement follows ground lease and research and development agreements Terrestrial Energy executed with The Texas A&M University System, announced June 18, 2026. Those agreements give Terrestrial Energy site control and exclusive access to approximately 77 acres at the RELLIS campus, enabling site characterization and environmental evaluation activities in support of a future Nuclear Regulatory Commission construction permit application.

Ingmar Sterzing, President of Nuclear Construction at Zachry Group, said the collaboration "supports the vision of establishing RELLIS as a leading center for advanced nuclear development."

Terrestrial Energy describes its IMSR as a Generation IV reactor design that uses molten salt technology and standard-assay low-enriched uranium fuel. The company has stated it is targeting commissioning of its first IMSR plants in the early 2030s.
