Firefly Neuroscience, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIFF) and Next Health announced a partnership to launch a cognitive health platform that combines Firefly's FDA-cleared EEG/ERP brain biomarker technology with personalized peptide protocols, according to a press release issued July 28, 2026.

The platform is intended to give physicians objective measures of brain function to help guide and monitor cognitive therapies. The companies plan to develop standardized clinical protocols integrating Firefly's AI-powered Evoke System with provider-guided peptide therapies across Next Health's network of longevity clinics.

The announcement follows a recommendation by an FDA Advisory Committee to add six therapeutic peptides — including Epitalon and Semax — to the list of bulk drug substances eligible for pharmacy compounding. The recommendation is not binding and requires further FDA action. Neither Epitalon nor Semax is approved by the FDA for any use, and the advisory committee's recommendation addresses only compounding eligibility, not the safety or efficacy of either peptide.

Firefly states its proprietary database contains over 200,000 EEG/ERP brain scans. The companies said they expect to provide updates as key milestones are achieved.
