July 28, 2026 7:30 AM

Conagra Brands, Inc. (NYSE: CAG) announced a series of senior leadership changes on July 28, 2026, including the elimination of the chief operating officer role following the planned retirement of Tom McGough.

McGough, executive vice president and COO, will retire on September 4, 2026, after nearly two decades with the company. His COO position will not be filled after his departure.

As part of the restructuring, Noelle O'Mara, executive vice president and president of Refrigerated and Frozen, and Jill Dexter, executive vice president and president of Grocery and Snacks, will report directly to president and CEO John Brase.

Burke Raine will take on the newly defined role of executive vice president and chief growth officer, overseeing Foodservice, International, and the company's research and development efforts, in addition to leading growth initiatives across the organization. Raine will also report directly to Brase.

"Being close to our customers and the consumer is vital as we simplify Conagra and position the Company for profitable growth," Brase said in a statement. "The opportunity to work directly with them will enable us to improve efficiency as we execute our strategy."
