Core Scientific posts Q2 2026 revenue of $164M, reports AMD partnership

Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ: CORZ) reported second-quarter 2026 total revenue of $164.2 million, up from $115.2 million in the prior quarter and $78.6 million in the same period a year earlier, according to a company press release.

Colocation revenue reached $136.7 million in Q2 2026, compared with $77.5 million in Q1 2026 and $10.6 million in Q2 2025. Gross profit was $70.0 million, up from $30.1 million in the prior quarter and $5.0 million a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was $41.1 million, compared with $8.9 million in Q1 2026 and $28.5 million in Q2 2025.

The company reported a net loss of $1.155 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The loss was primarily driven by a change in the fair value of warrants, reflecting appreciation in the company's stock price during the period.

Capital expenditures totaled $797.5 million in Q2 2026, compared with $389.2 million in Q1 2026 and $121.3 million in Q2 2025. Liquidity, comprised of cash, cash equivalents, and digital assets, stood at $1.819 billion at the end of Q2 2026.

Core Scientific announced a partnership with AMD that it says could support up to 2.5 gigawatts of leasable capacity, anchored by 15-year agreements for approximately 530 megawatts across five sites with more than $14 billion of potential base contracted revenue. The company also said total leased customer power capacity reached approximately 1.1 gigawatts, representing more than $24 billion of potential contracted revenue. As of mid-July, the company reported billing for 437 megawatts of capacity, representing approximately $635 million in average annualized colocation GAAP revenue.

Billing megawatts stood at 395 in Q2 2026, up from 225 in Q1 2026. The company operates data center facilities in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Texas.
