Unity Software Inc. (NYSE: U) has appointed Michael Lieb, its Chief Accounting Officer, as principal accounting officer, effective July 27, 2026.

Lieb, 45, previously served as Vice President, Corporate Controller at Peloton Interactive Inc. from 2023 until his departure. Before that, he held finance roles at Shutterstock Inc. from 2018 to 2023, most recently as Vice President, Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy. He also held finance roles at Spotify Technology S.A. and spent more than 14 years at Ernst & Young LLP. Lieb holds a B.S. from Binghamton University and an M.S. from the University of Notre Dame.

Under a letter agreement dated June 3, 2026, Lieb's compensation as Chief Accounting Officer includes an annual base salary of $385,000, a target cash bonus of 40% of his base salary, and a restricted stock unit award valued at $1.2 million. The restricted stock units vest over four years, with 25% vesting on August 25, 2027, and 6.25% vesting quarterly thereafter, subject to continuous service.
