Webull launches robo-advised bond portfolios for retail investors

July 27, 2026 9:03 AM

Webull (NASDAQ: BULL) has launched Managed Bond Portfolios through its Webull Advisors unit, offering retail investors access to professionally managed individual bond portfolios powered by fixed income infrastructure firm Moment.

The offering includes two strategies. The Enhanced Cash strategy invests in U.S. Treasury securities with maturities of up to two years, requires a minimum investment of $500, and carries a 15-basis point annual fee. The High Income strategy invests across investment-grade and high-yield bonds targeting 6% or more in annualized income, requires a minimum of $2,000, and charges a 30-basis point annual fee.

Both are structured as discretionary accounts, meaning Webull Advisors makes ongoing investment decisions on behalf of clients. Investors do not select individual bonds directly.

According to the company, individually managed bond portfolios have traditionally required minimums of $250,000 or more and annual fees of 0.50% to 1.00%. The new offering is available exclusively to U.S. investors.

"This launch marks a major step forward for Webull Advisors as we expand professional wealth management beyond what traditional robo-advisors and self-directed platforms can offer," said Sara Schwartz, CEO of Webull Advisors.

Moment, which counts Edward Jones, LPL Financial, and Hightower Advisors among its clients, provides the portfolio construction and trading infrastructure underlying the product. Moment's backers include Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

"Robo-advised platforms emerged almost 20 years ago, but until now the technology has been applied almost exclusively to ETF portfolios," said Matt Peterson, Head of Fixed Income at Webull. "Our Managed Bond Portfolios solve that, making professional bond portfolio management practical at account sizes that would have been impossible to serve economically just a few years ago."

Webull states the product is the first robo-advised individual bond portfolio offering available to retail investors, though that claim has not been independently verified.
