Cognizant expands Anthropic partnership, joins Claude Premier Network
Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) announced an expanded strategic partnership with Anthropic, becoming one of a small number of Global Premier Partners in the Claude Partner Network, according to a press release. The expanded relationship builds on a partnership announced in late 2025.
Cognizant said it is already applying Anthropic's Claude AI model in client deployments across manufacturing, life sciences and insurance. In life sciences, the company built an agentic contract-intelligence system for a biopharmaceutical company that cut contract review time by up to 40% while lifting extraction accuracy above 88%. In insurance, a risk-navigation tool reduced hours of manual research to approximately one minute for underwriters, saving each roughly eight hours per week. In manufacturing, Cognizant delivered an AI-led customer experience portal for a global manufacturer within six months.
Cognizant is also embedding Claude into its internal platforms, including Flowsource, Neuro AI Engineering and Neuro IT Ops. Claude is expected to be deployed across Travelport's software delivery lifecycle, using its large context window to analyze codebases and surface embedded business logic.
"Our role is to be the bridge," said Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant. "We bring the industry context, the engineering scale and the trust frameworks that use Claude to deliver production outcomes inside the most demanding enterprise environments."
Daniela Amodei, Co-Founder and President of Anthropic, said the deepened partnership would help companies "deploy it in real, practical ways for their businesses."
As part of its Frontier workforce model, Cognizant has committed to credentialing 5,000 Frontier Certified Engineers and 10,000 Frontier Business Operators. More than 30,000 Cognizant associates have completed Claude training to date, with the company targeting coverage across its workforce of more than 350,000 associates. Cognizant claims to currently hold the most Claude certifications globally.
