Faraday Future launches EAI education program, cites stock challenges
Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) announced the launch of its EAI-EDU Nationwide Replication at Scale Strategy, along with the completion of an EAI robotics summer camp, according to a company press release.
The summer camp was jointly organized by FF, the Lynwood and El Segundo public school districts, and educational institutions. The company said the program validated its education products, curriculum system, and operating model for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer education markets.
The nationwide expansion strategy will begin with partners Sequoia Education and Triple I, with the company stating it plans to expand across education and training institutions. After-school programs at public and private K–12 schools are described as a key priority. The curriculum is framed around robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical hardware, and cross-disciplinary skills.
FF also announced a sponsorship agreement making it the official regional sponsor of the Argentina National Football Team in North America for robotics and related technologies.
On capital markets, CEO YT Jia acknowledged a recent reverse stock split, stating the company proceeded because trading at or below $0.10 for 10 consecutive trading days risked triggering a Nasdaq delisting. Jia cited lingering effects from past financial issues, legacy automotive debt, and reliance on high-cost convertible debt financing as contributing factors to the company's stock performance difficulties.
The company said it plans to improve operating cash flow and explore capital initiatives tied to its robotics business. FF said it will announce July robotics sales and shipment figures in its next weekly update.
The company's forward-looking disclosures note risks including its ability to continue as a going concern, competition from better-funded robotics companies, reliance on a single overseas manufacturer, and tariff uncertainty on imported products.
