Teladoc Health launches integrated virtual care model Teladoc One

July 23, 2026 6:01 AM

Teladoc Health (NYSE: TDOC) announced the launch of Teladoc One, a virtual care model designed to coordinate care across multiple specialties for individual patients, according to a company press release.

The model pairs multidisciplinary care teams — including licensed clinicians, health coaches, registered dietitians, mental health therapists and specialists — with an AI support system that operates between patient appointments. A designated human care guide coordinates with in-network physicians and specialists and manages referrals and follow-up care.

Teladoc One draws on what the company describes as a unified data ecosystem it calls the Pulse intelligence engine, which combines clinical history with claims, pharmacy, device, medical record and eligibility data. The company said the technical foundation was rebuilt over two years to integrate these assets.

As part of the model, Teladoc Health said it is placing 100% of its fees at risk, linking payment to clinical outcome measures and total cost of care improvement. The company cited a study of more than 29,000 members enrolled in multiple chronic care programs, finding that combining chronic care and mental health programs produced greater reductions in blood sugar and more weight loss than single-condition programs.

Programs under the Teladoc One model will launch with select clients in September 2026, initially targeting populations with cardiometabolic health needs. Broader availability is planned for January 2027.

The company also noted recent partnerships with the National Basketball Players Association, Walmart and Instacart as part of its broader strategy to expand integrated care offerings. Teladoc Health reported that 67% of its clients currently use two or more of its products.

"The industry's current approach of treating one disease at a time isn't the answer. Teladoc One changes that," said Kelly Bliss, President of U.S. Group Health at Teladoc Health.
