Investing.com -- Iran's top negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf warned today that no country will be able to sell oil in the region if Iran cannot do so, stating that Tehran's infrastructure security depends on the removal of American forces from the area.

"The equation of this war is clear: either all or none," Qalibaf wrote in a post on X today.

Qalibaf added that if Iran's security is not guaranteed, no infrastructure will remain safe. He said the security of the Strait of Hormuz depends on the absence of American forces.

The negotiator stated that Iran has repeatedly indicated that conditions in the Strait will not return to their pre-war status.

Crude Oil WTI traded roughly 3% higher today.
