American Honda announces leadership changes in auto sales
Investing.com -- American Honda announced rotational changes to its auto sales leadership on Wednesday, with the changes taking effect on August 3, 2026. Jessika Laudermilk, currently assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales, will move to lead Acura brand sales as assistant vice president of Acura National Auto Sales. Luis Guerra, currently Central Region director within Auto Sales, will succeed Laudermilk as assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales. Mike Langel, currently assistant vice president of Acura National Auto Sales, will assume a new sales position at Honda Aircraft Company.
"Job rotation has always served as an important strategy in developing our executive leaders for the Honda and Acura brands, advancing knowledge and experience to better serve our customers and dealers," said Lance Woelfer, vice president of Auto Sales at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "We are fortunate to have leaders with the depth of experience and proven track records that Jessika Laudermilk and Luis Guerra bring to their new roles leading the Acura and Honda brands. At the same time, Mike Langel's transition to Honda Aircraft provides an opportunity to leverage his experience as a pilot within the Honda family."
Laudermilk joined Honda in 2018 as part of the field sales organization. Over the past two years, she has led Honda National Sales. Her previous roles included serving as assistant vice president of the Marketing Division, where she oversaw marketing operations for both the Honda and Acura brands.
Guerra brings almost two decades of experience with the company to his new role. He has worked within both the Honda and Acura field organizations and Honda National Sales. Guerra served in the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield.
Langel has served in a variety of roles within the Auto and Motorcycle Sales Divisions of the company since joining American Honda in 2008. He has held the position of assistant vice president of Acura National Sales for the past two years.
