Intuit launches business credit card integrated with QuickBooks
Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU) has introduced the Intuit Business Credit Card, a World Elite Business Mastercard issued by WebBank and available to small businesses in the U.S., the company announced.
The card is designed to sync natively with QuickBooks, automatically connecting to the platform's bank feed upon approval and matching receipts to transactions. Intuit claims approved applicants can access a virtual card in as little as three minutes after applying.
The card offers unlimited 2% cash back on general purchases and 5% cash back on Intuit products and services, including QuickBooks and Mailchimp, with no annual fee. Cardholders can issue physical and virtual cards to an unlimited number of employees with individualized spending controls and real-time notifications.
The card operates on the Mastercard network, which provides global acceptance and includes Zero Liability coverage and AI-driven fraud detection. World Elite Business Mastercard benefits are also included.
"The Intuit Business Credit Card gives businesses something they have never had before: a single, connected solution for spending, cash flow, and credit that is built around how their business actually performs," said David Hahn, EVP and General Manager, Services Group at Intuit.
Eimear Creaven, president of Global Partnerships at Mastercard, said the card combines "Mastercard's global acceptance, security, and World Elite Business benefits with Intuit's deep understanding of small business finances."
The card does not affect personal credit scores upon application, according to the company. It also cannot be used to pay other debts such as loans or existing credit card balances.
The Intuit Business Credit Card extends the company's existing capital offerings through QuickBooks, which already includes lines of credit, term loans, and invoice financing through QuickBooks Capital. The information in this article is based on a press release from Intuit.
