EagleNXT (NYSE: UAVS), based in Allen, Texas, and operating as AgEagle Aerial Systems Inc., announced a strategic investment in Agilis Air Inc., an Ohio-based drone manufacturer focused on low-cost, modular unmanned aerial systems built entirely in the United States.

Agilis Air produces quadcopter platforms, including its Remora model, designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and tactical missions. The company uses a 100% domestic supply chain and is developing onboard autonomy for operations in GPS-denied environments.

Bill Irby, CEO of EagleNXT, said in a statement: "Agilis brings exciting quadcopter capabilities that complement our Group 1 fixed wing UAS platforms. Together, we are helping to ensure U.S. forces maintain decisive advantage in contested environments."

Yon Raz-Fridman, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Agilis Air, said: "Their proven expertise in Group 1 fixed-wing systems and established government relationships perfectly complement our low-cost quadcopter platforms."

EagleNXT's existing portfolio includes Blue UAS-certified fixed-wing systems used for long-endurance tactical mapping and ISR missions. The investment adds quadcopter capabilities to that lineup.

Agilis Air was co-founded by CEO Shawn Theiss, who previously delivered more than 40 U.S. Department of Defense programs through his prior company, Theiss UAV Solutions, alongside Raz-Fridman. The company is building manufacturing capacity in Northeast Ohio.
