Neurocrine Biosciences names Samir Siddhanti chief business officer

Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: NBIX) has appointed Samir Siddhanti as Chief Business Officer and a member of its executive Management Committee, according to a company statement released July 21, 2026.

In the role, Siddhanti will oversee business development, corporate strategy, alliance management and program management. He joined Neurocrine in 2017 and most recently served as Vice President, Business Development, where he led strategic transactions including the company's $2.9 billion acquisition of Soleno Therapeutics.

Siddhanti also serves as Program Team Leader for direclidine, a compound in development for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Prior to joining Neurocrine, he was a member of the biotechnology equity research team at Goldman Sachs. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
