Betterware de México adds two board members, names R&D consultant
Betterware de México, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (NYSE: BWMX) has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors and retained a research and development consultant, according to a company statement.
Juan Pajón and Arquímedes Celis were approved as board members at a shareholder meeting. Pajón currently serves as Head of Customer Success and Global Innovation at Oracle Corporation and previously held the role of Global Chief Technology Officer at Grupo Bimbo and Chief Information Officer for LATAM GSS at General Electric. Celis currently serves on the boards of Grupo Lala and Pilgrim's Pride Corp., and previously spent 18 years as Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Lala, in addition to CEO roles at Industrias Bachoco and Barcel.
The two appointments replace Martín Werner and Silvia Davila, who are retiring from the board.
The company also retained David Kusuma as R&D Strategic Consultant, effective July 6, 2026. Kusuma currently serves as Head of Product R&D at AG Automotive Group and previously led Tupperware's global R&D function. He also held roles at General Electric and Oregon Tool, and served as President of the World Design Organization from 2022 to 2024.
The company said Kusuma's appointment follows its recent acquisition of Tupperware LATAM.
