W.R. Berkley (WRB) Reiterated at Neutral by Cantor Fitzgerald on In-Line Q2 Results
Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Ryan Tunis reiterated a Neutral rating and $74.00 price target on W.R. Berkley (NYSE: WRB).
The analyst commented, "WRB reported a largely in-line 2Q26, with growth and underwriting margins broadly in line with expectations. We think the more interesting discussion, however, centers on management's pricing commentary. Rate ex workers' compensation decelerated to 3.8%, but management was clear this reflected a deliberate decision to trade some rate for additional exposure where it still views margins as attractive. The key question for investors is whether this represents disciplined cycle management or an early indication that even high-quality E&S underwriters are beginning to lean into a softer market."
