HAECO and Woodward (NASDAQ: WWD) have signed an Elite Licensed Repair Service Facility (LRSF) agreement to provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for Woodward components on CFM International LEAP-1A, LEAP-1B, and LEAP-1C engines, according to a press release from the two companies.

Under the agreement, HAECO is authorized to service Woodward's fuel control, engine actuation, and air management systems across the CFM LEAP engine family. HAECO joins Woodward's Elite LRSF network, which requires MRO providers to be evaluated on technical expertise and historical performance before selection.

HAECO will operate from its existing facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen to serve airline operators in the Asia-Pacific region and mainland China. The inclusion of the LEAP-1C, which powers aircraft operated primarily in China, extends the geographic scope of the partnership.

George Edmunds, Group Director of Component and Engine Services at HAECO, said the agreement "reinforces our position as a trusted provider within the global MRO network and strengthens our role as a leading support hub in Asia-Pacific and mainland China."

John DiSilvestro, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service for Woodward, said the agreement "expands our global support network and strengthens the availability of reliable, high-quality repair solutions for Woodward components on CFM International LEAP engines."

CFM International is a 50/50 joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines. HAECO Group employs approximately 15,000 staff across operations in Hong Kong, mainland China, Europe, and the Americas.
