Electra Battery Materials amends senior secured credit facility
Electra Battery Materials Corporation (NASDAQ: ELBM; TSX-V: ELBM) announced an amendment to its Credit and Guaranty Agreement, originally dated October 22, 2025, according to a press release from the Toronto-based company.
The amendment modifies certain provisions of the existing senior secured credit facility to increase the amount of permitted indebtedness the company can incur for government financing arrangements. It also grants the company greater flexibility to issue liens and make payments related to such indebtedness on a pari passu basis with existing secured lenders.
The administrative agent on the credit agreement is GLAS USA LLC, with GLAS Trust Company LLC serving as collateral agent. Certain subsidiaries of Electra are also party to the agreement.
The company stated the amendment is intended to support its ability to finalize government funding arrangements by providing additional flexibility with respect to working capital and government financing initiatives within the framework of the existing credit agreement.
All existing guarantees, security, and other obligations under the original credit agreement remain in effect and were reaffirmed in connection with the amendment. All other terms of the credit agreement remain unchanged.
